Life, like anything else, listens to the rules of the universe. As the common theory in chemistry goes the sum of what goes in, has to add up to what comes out. Life is no different. What you put in, is what you get - and that's well said by the popular adage, "You reap what you sow". It goes for the good. It goes for the bad. Most importantly, it goes for the things you are indifferent to.

If all of this is true, then the idiocracy in life is believing that doing the same thing everyone is doing will yield different results. If you are sitting in for entrances like everyone else, getting into engineering like everyone else, taking up job offers that you hate like everyone else, and buying houses and getting into debt like everyone else, you can't expect some miracle to happen that makes you different from anyone - can you, now?

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, says Einstein.

If you want to be different, then the answer is simple. Step out, do things others aren't doing. Look at things others aren't looking at. Read, absorb and create things that others dare not. Being different starts with the choices you make - some are unfortunately made for us, but the few choices that are upto you, don't walk down the dotted, padded lines like sheep, and then expect to bark like a Border Collie.

The Entropy of life, is that, You don't get something unless you really really really want it, and are willing to commit to getting that. How badly do you want to be different? If that is a strong Yes, then the only question you need to ask is if you are true to yourself. You do not want to make choices to your life to be a cheap imitation of someone else. There is no fun, glory or worth in that path. So for once, listen to your heart and decide - don't follow. And be willing to pay the price it comes with.
